O yea. Last night right after i got back from PD, i and Amir went straight to CyberFusion 2009: World’s Largest LAN Party! It’s an attempt to break the record of longest LAN Party. You can read all about it here and here.
I was deadly shocked when i entered the grand hall. It was keerrraazzzyy! They got like hundreds and hundreds of PC in there! And all the 250++ people were there just to play games for straight 40 hours! How insane is that?? It’s unbelievably insane! It’s more like the biggest CyberCafe ever seen. O_O
And for serious hard core gamers, i think this is the moment they’ve been waiting for. People actually allow, support, sponsor them playing games. How cool is that?? But the tricky part is, you can’t sleep in between and you’ll be given only 5 minutes of break within 1 hour. Yes. Do the math people. It’s somehow torturing. If I’m not mistaken, there were like already 12 people disqualified within 20 hours of the attempt. And at this time la people wanna show off their PC, their rm300 keyboard, RM300 mouse, all the equipment for gaming (such as the guitar for guitar hero game, the drum set, steering wheel, and many T_T) and even got some people bring their anime figure to be displayed on their CPU. To bring their rooms aura kot. Hahaha.
even got people play chuzzle hik3 so cute
In the end, i guess the attempt succeed and they eventually set a new record for the longest LAN Party and beat the US. Hahaha. MMU rocks!
