Oooo-Myyyy-Godddddd! This is so so so so unbelievable. I knew it! I just knew deep in my heart they will do it again. Guess what?? Meteor Garden have another version! YES! You read it right. They have another version and their first season is already complete (36 episodes). They start airing this around August and finished it around September. I theoretically know about this a couple of months late. Hahaha. Itu pun Ksah told me. If not, I wouldn’t know. :p
This time around, it’s from the Mainland (China). I think they use the same language with the first ever version of Meteor Garden, mandarin that is. Yet, they still want to do it. I haven’t watch any of their episode yet, just a glimpse and let me tell you this. Their F4 H4 (what the eff?? H4??? ) are not hot at allllll! At all! I don’t know about their story line but I bet the concept is all the same. Though the producer claimed Meteor Shower to be different, the 4 guys and a girl concept is all the same.
Can you guess which one is which? I can’t! Well, except for the girl. She’s a cutie ain’t she? Which one is Dao Ming Si? Which one is Yoon Ji Hoo? They have same body structure, a boy’s. They should cast a man instead of a boy. The rumor has it that this drama received a lot of attention from Chinese (mainland) audiences. Of course la kan! If suddenly there’s a producer in Malaysia want to do this drama, I will watch it too. Even though I know the cast won’t be as handsome/cute/cool/*insert anything resemble cuteness*, I will still watch it so I can laugh my ass off over the drama. Hahahah.
But please la, no Malaysian Meteor Garden. It will be worse than hilarious. Knowing about this make me dig all the version back. I watch from Meteor Garden to Hana Yori Dango to Boys Over Flower while I should be studying. Haha. And I must say each version has their own uniqueness and their own style. Anyway, I think I’m going to watch this after You’re Beautiful is over and I’m anticipating their Season 2. And who knows, next thing you know I might praise them for being too cute and adorable whatsoever. Hahaha.

i have just watched this series few days ago,just until ep 5…it’s really2 interesting..n hillarious..the characters of the H4 is so dffrnt than classical MG…i luv all the characters esp Murong Yunhao,the leading cast..He’s got such a very charming smile,so adorable..n even his characters makes me so comfortable ..he’s neither hot-tempered nor too aggressive..bt always smile..n his smiles can makes me smile da whole day..hahaha..the female lead is also cute n she is so strong and brave..i like her spirits..
And u know,b4 watching this series ,i looked for the mv n trailers..n there is one thing in my mind-the characters not as hot as korean HYD..n maybe the stories would be the same..
But interestgly,after wtching it,i really2 like it..i hve wtched taiwanese n japanese version,n some scene in korean version of HYD.this series is not a pure HYD,n thanks God,it’s not the same..u just cannot predict what’s going 2 happen in the next episode..otherwise i’ll be bored..The overall plot might be the quite same,i think..bt as far as i’ve wtched ,there is a lot of dffrncence ..
In addition,this drama is ‘more acceptable n logic’..in many ways..compared to classical HYD.n i think Korean HYD is kind of a little exaggerated..the female lead..n the f4 characters also quite bored ,they’re more like adults…bt the Japanese HYD is still best.. here,the H4 characters r more like normal high skul stdnts .they’re arrogant..,bt funny n likeable n also cute..
This series is so irresistible..n i’m really eager to know how Murong Yuhnhao can fall for the girl..how the sweet moment starts..n looks like he’s so romantic..haha..
One thing that makes me curious,is that a lot of bckground music in this series r same as in Ying Ye Jia 3+1..why..r the producer same..that’s remind me of ying ye jia drama..hu2..
..i really want to wtch next episode..31 more episodes to go..n the thing is i ‘ve to wait until after my exam is over…ha3..

i’m just finishd watchng it,bt skippd a lot of scenes (except yunhai&yuxun part) since i’m quite bz..just wan 2 know the whole storyline..bcoz i just can’t restrain myself fr wtchng it..hu2..
i tell u this story is very very interesting n unique..as i expcted..u can see all the casts played their role very well..n as usual,murong yunhao’s(dao mingsi) mother would be so irritating..bt yunhao’s father is so nice..a lot of funny scenes,conflicts,sweet,romantic moments, all r nicely brought together.. the OST n bckground sound also gud..
i just don like the time when yunhai n yuxun fight with each other,when there was msunderstandg btw them.bt when they’re tgther,they’so so sweet..they really made a great couple..hao ke ai ohh….ha3..
Endng is ok n logically can be accepted bt mny ppl said they should hug..he2..bt i heard there would be a sequel..youhoo..frankly said,it should be..i really hope it won’t be as disappointg as Taiwan MG2..
i’m a korean fan actly (since winter sonata) bt not much gud kdrama 2 wtch nwadays that really caught my attntion except You’re Beautiful n since i’m also the fan of JGS..he3..So while waitng for YB epsde,i tried 2 find taiwanese drama as they’re r also popular n excellent.Luckily i found ‘zhe ge’-Meteor Shower.bt it’s not Taiwanese,it’s Chinese ..wutever,almst da same rght,hu3.. dis drama really has a strong power dat makes me forget You’re Beautiful..ha3..am i over’praising’ it??he33..well,i dunno wut da other ppl’s opinion abt dis series,
bt as for me,it’s really gud.-)
