Beside having three brothers in my room playing Red Alert together with infinite noise in the air, today is beautiful. Yesterday, I cannot wait to get online to do all sort of stuff but right this moment, those things disappear from my mind like I never thought of ‘em. I’m not sure if this is one of the symptoms of Alzheimer but I hope it’s not. Let’s pretend it’s just another short term memory.
This post suppose to be about my last vacation trip to Sabah, for the fourth time. Yes, it’s our fourth time there (or is it the fifth?) and we never got sick of it. Seems like Sabah is all this and that but it’s truly not. They got the same old thing + new 3 shopping malls which I think still can’t beat Pavi and others here. This time we didn’t get to use the car from the showroom like we always do because Abah said these days, Toyota has become more strict whatsoever. So, we end up touring around with no car. No probbies! Why taxi exist right?
The first day was just about eating seafood at some fancy-seafood restaurant-but-I-don’t-think-so-at-all restaurant. It was delicious etc. I forgot all about the taste already but I remember being somewhat content from the food. :p
And the second day is my favorite. After a huge breakfast, we went for island hoping! The fact about how friendly the fishes there which I’ve been told by Doory from time to time excites me to the bones. And it’s totally true! The fishes were totally friendly! They don’t mind us swim around them with no food, well maybe they were hoping for some. I genuinely thought that it was my first time going to all those islands but only to realized by Abah that we’ve done this for at least, two times already. T_T Blame my short term memory, not me.
When the sun set, we bowl. I don’t know why we have to go bowling every time we’re on a holiday while we can do it when we’re not on one. Seriously, I don’t. Not to mention the movie time. We even watch Sherlock Holmes the next day. Please, somebody, enlighten me on this. ?_?
We spent the whole third day in the new shopping mall, 1 Borne0. Insisting on going, Ksah and I, Abah agreed. I’ve should never expect it to have all our favorite stores but well, it’s good enough that they even have half of it. And again, Doory’s word on the cheap Nine West is exact. The shoes were like all RM99 but I don’t know bout the bags. Ksah delightfully bought a pair, I didn’t. Biasa la orang kerja kan. And we watch Sherlock Holmes after. It was funny, good, and exciting. Everybody should watch it. I like Robert Downey in Sherlock Holmes better than in Iron Man.
The last day, going home. Our flight was at 5pm that got delayed to 6pm. In the morning, we went to the Filipino Market to spend. I bought the usual, kain paryo, bracelets, brooch, and food. I like the bracelets the most and this time I bought a lot of kerepek for my Petom. After several experience on buying souvenir for my Petom, I found out that they appreciate food more than stuff. Hahaha. Because last time I bought them something from Australia, those stuff end up in my closet back because they forgot to take it with them to their room selepas sesi berborak tak ingat dunia and I malas nak bagi souvenir dua kali. T_T If I serve food, confirm lah habis di situ juga. Or not (sebab sekarang semua Petom dah diet whatever).
Frustrated over delayed flight maybe?
I was infected by poisonous food again. This is the second time I got so sick from the food when I’m on a holiday. The last time was quite a long ago that I can’t remember. But I still remember the pain precisely. We had KFC for dinner at Centrepoint before we go bowling. When we got to our hotel, I can’t hold it anymore. Diarrhea and vomititious. Last time, it was damn painful because I refuse to vomit as I hate it so so much but this time I knew my system already. Everything inside has to go out in order for me to feel better. That’s just how it goes. That night, the toilet have become my second bedroom, literally. I practically goes in and out more than ten times. Really. But I’m glad that it’s not that painful cos I was volunteerly vomiting and shitting. So, yeah I think this can be like a must when I go on a holiday, besides air sickness and sea sickness (only from a very very rough boat ride). So not cool okay. I don’t know what or where it went wrong, whether the food is not clean or is it that I eat too much. I don’t know but I’m just going to assume it all. Le sighh.
(Left) This is what I look like in the plane. (Right) Don’t disturb me lah you crazy woman *pissed*.
Oh and what excites and dissapoints me at the same time is that I found a lot of Korean Restaurant at Sabah. Within my hotel area only, there’re two. The thing is, they’re not HALAL. So freaking frustrating, no? I even went inside one of the restaurants just to find out about its status and the moment I open the door, this weird smell struck my nose and I just knew it. Even if the ahjumma there said that some of the food contains no pork but the workers there totally get me and warn me that it’s not safe here. Peciuuuuuu I ran out from that restaurant and some more, I can’t stand the smell either. No need to get offended by what I write yea. Just an experience of mine.
And I hate it when I write a freaking post for hours.
